Hello! I'm excited to share my new tutorial with you, guys. I got many requests about wafer paper flowers, so here is a simple rose tutorial. Next time I'm planning to show you how to make an orchid, a dark color rose, a fantasy beautiful flower, a cactus flower and a bearded iris. Some of you may not know what a wafer paper is. Let's make it clear. Wafer paper is an edible paper, usually made of rice or potato flour. It's safe to eat and the flavor is very subtle — so it won't interfere with what's going on in your cake. One side of it is smooth, another is textured. Wafer paper doesn't "like" water, so be very gentle with it. It's recommended to use a mix of vodka and water, but I found vodka/water mix a little hard to get details stuck well (I mention this in my video), so I recommend to use pure water. It's better to store your wafer paper flat in a cool place (room temperature is fine) away from heat and sunlight. For this particular rose I used about 11 small, 14 medium size and 6 large size petals. You might need more or less, depending on your personal design. I might do it wrong, but that's my own way and I'm sharing my experience. Please, leave your comments and let me know what tutorials you are interested in, what you like or dislike about my video and what needs to be improved. I value your time! Thank you for watching and I hope you will find this tutorial useful. / by.arttart *****************************************
