In this video, I give an overview of the Deep Desert zone, including how to get there and new mechanics all players need to be aware of. For each server, the Deep Desert is a shared space for all sietch communities, able to host hundreds of players. The map is very large and organized into sectors. Half of the map is limited PvP (mostly PvE), while the entire northern half of the desert is PvP enabled at all times. There are a number of new mechanics that apply to the Deep Desert. The most important new mechanic is the weekly reset and Coriolis Storm. The Coriolis Storm completely destroys everything at weekly reset for the servers. This mechanics dictates that players move in and out of the desert on a weekly basis. Other mechanics that differ from Hagga Basin are shields down during sector sandstorms. Shields down allow for structure damage including base raids of bases built in PvP enabled areas. NPCs past the A-row are significantly more deadly; new players be careful. For adventure and harvesting, the Deep Desert has testing stations, water sealed caves, small crashed ships, spice sand in small, medium, and large fields. In addition the the northern half of the desert, all Landsraad control points and large crash sites are PvP enabled. The Deep Desert also has a whole new set of tier 6 crafting components, titanium and stravidium will be the new Tier 6 harvestable materials. By watching this video, viewers should gain an understanding of how the zone works. Music by StreamBeats (Harris Heller), Thank You! Follow on Twitch: / aksunin Thank you for watching!
