Was gonna take the day off and relax, but with the 2021 Novabus LFS Hybrids starting to hit service in Manhattanville, I used this time to once again go after Manhattan's remaining Orion buses. As you may know, these are the final days of Orion buses in Manhattan, as with the Novabus LFS Hybrids (which will be delivered to Manhattanville, Michael J. Quill, and Tuskegee Airmen Depots), and New Flyer XDE40 Xcelsior Hybrids (which will be delivered to Mother Clara Hale) are beginning to arrive in chunks and start service. On this day, #9624 made it's first runs on the M98 Limited and M116 Crosstown routes. Difference between the 2003-05 and 2006-07 units being the turn signal, and the destination signs. #6690's VIN number is 1VHHH3P2X66702213, while #3500's VIN number, 1VHHH3P2766702363, comes after #6714's VIN. NOTE: As of September 25th, 2021, all Orion VII Old Gens have been officially retired from Manhattanville Depot, ending a 16-year reign for Old Gens at that Depot.
