First race meeting in the new rocket. These were the first laps where I had no problems and could push it to see how the car actually drove after the new build. Not ideal trying to learn a new car in race conditions but makes for interesting viewing. Once I got to 3rd and knew I wasn't going to catch the top two, I was content with just sitting back and getting to understand the car more. I'm pretty happy with the overall package as a base. Some things I learnt from this race was the brake bias front to rear still needs fine tuning, throttle mapping needs work to make the power delivery more linear and the tyres rubbing on the guards on fast corners is a problem. Pretty happy I now have a car that can not only pass around corners but in a straight line as well! Top speed down the straight was 241km/h. Not sure why the footage goes distorted so often but I'll work on that for future races.
