#ZWO #ASIAIR #Astrophotography This video shows the steps involved in image data acquisition using the ASIAIR PLUS. The target in this video is the Wizard Nebula (NGC7380). I collected about 8 hours 24 minutes of acceptable data. I used the William Optics GT71 telescope, ASI533MC Pro Camera and Optolong L-eXtreme filter. Steps Involved in Astro Imaging (Data Acquisition Using ASIAIR Plus): 1. Select the target for imaging. 2. Setup the imaging gear during daytime. ...Wait for the Nightfall... 3. Power on the mount and ASIAIR. Connect iPAD to ASIAIR. 4. Perform Auto Focus anually for PA. 5. Perform the Polar Alignment 6. Select the target and move the mount. Confirm target centre in Sky Atlas. 7. Setup Multi-Star Guiding. 8. Configure the Autorun sequence. 9. Auto Focus runs before the exposure starts. 10. Keep an eye on Guiding & Meridian Flip timing 11. Meridian Flip (The target crosses the North/South line). 12. Auto Focus runs again after Meridian Flip. I used 20 Dark, 50 Flat and 50 Dark-Flat frames for stacking in DSS. The PixInsignt process is specific to OSC Cameras and Dual Narrowband filter (Optolong L-eXtreme). The SHO image created in PixInsight was further refined in Photoshop. I hope this video is informtive and useful. Please let me know in comments if I missed anything.
