My own arrangement of Makedonsko devojče, also known as Macedonian girl, one of the most famous balkan song, for solo guitar. It's a mix between our version with BGKO, Barcelona gipsy balkan orchestra, and the "tradicional" one by Jonce Hristovski, with musical arrangement by Koco Petrovski. I recommend to check also the great version Miroslav Tadić wrote on that song. Here i start with an arpeggio atmosphere on top of which i add the main melody. On second verse, i move the melody to the medium register, on the top of the guitar neck. Finally the second verse where i play the melody with artificial guitar harmonics, keeping the bass line going. I wish you'll enjoy it as much as i did writing it!
