DXC Technology at STARTUP AUTOBAHN EXPO2024

With over 1,200 on-site guests (incl. representatives from up to 125 industry-leading companies), and more than 30 innovative startups present (three of them in collaboration with DXC), the STARTUP AUTOBAHN EXPO2024 was once again a fantastic convergence of industry leaders, innovators, and visionaries in the field of mobility, production, enterprise, sustainability, and beyond. DXC is a long-term member of STARTUP AUTOBAHN, which was founded by Plug and Play Tech Center and Mercedes-Benz in 2016 and in the meantime has become Europe’s biggest Open Innovation platform. The yearly EXPO event aims to showcase the results of open innovation between innovative startups and the Corporate Partners of STARTUP AUTOBAHN. Among the international speaker line-up, composing 120 prominent C-level executives (incl. Markus Schäfer, CTO at Mercedes-Benz), tech-experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and political decision-makers, DXC was prominently represented, demonstrating our commitment to innovation: o Howard Boville, Executive Vice President of DXC Consulting & Engineering Services - Powered by AI, delivered an insightful keynote on main stage about how AI is truly the game-changer for driving sustainability decisions o Furthermore, we participated in two panel discussions to share DXC’s vision on the role of data in the circular economy (joined by BASF and the startup Circular IQ) as well as our perspective on the Software-Defined Vehicle (joined by ST Microelectronics and Aurora Labs) o To demonstrate our successful innovation projects with the startups Circular IQ (Circular Product Design & Production in the Automotive industry), Invert Robotics (Vision-based Quality Optimization in Automated Defense Manufacturing), and No Traffic (AI-based Traffic Management in urban environments), we were given the possibility to pitch the collaboration results on stage, as well as having a dedicated booth in the exhibition area for each project.
