WE Long Barrel / Long Slide M9 Review | Damian The Gunsmith Shop in San Antonio, Texas This time Scott pulls out from the cabinets a bit of an endangered piece. The WE Long Barrel or Long Slide M9 also known as the Military Spec M9 but it's not really military spec at all. The long barrel M9 has been the center of Scott's pistol collection for a while know but has been retired for the hi FPS of 420-440 and for it's "fixed" hopup. This pistol although a bit different from the rest of the WE M9 lineup still retains the critical points like controls and accepts the same magazines but with the longer barrel and slide, more range is added at the cost of a large FPS jump from the standard model.
