In this video I go through the process of replacing my parent's AC Compressor in their 2020 Model X. This is an USA made Tesla Model X that uses R1234yf as its refrigerant. While doing this we found that it says the refrigerant minimum fill is 700-740 grams but we later found out if it has rear AC (which all model x's have) it takes about 900-960 grams of refrigerant to fill the system. This type of refrigerant only comes in 8 oz. cans so we used 4.125 cans in this video, if in a pinch 4 cans will suffice.
