Road to MK1 Series covers all the characters story so far before the release of MK1. This series will cover all the characters that will be playable in MK1 and covers the 2nd MK Timeline which includes MK9, MKX & MK11. The characters story will be played out depending on which games they appear in. So far, MK1 has shown Scorpion, Sub Zero, Kitana, Mileena, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Shang Tsung (DLC), Raiden & also mentioned on their official page is Johnny Cage. UPDATES: JULY 6th 2023 via Kombat Kast on official Mortal Kombat YouTube Channel unveiled the Lin Kuei trailer which showed Smoke & Rain as the next 2 playable characters in MK1. Whilst Cyrax, Sektor & Frost are ONLY confirmed as Kameo Characters as of this point. Like Kung Lao, Scorpion & Sub Zero who are confirmed as Playable and Kameo characters, hopefully the same can be done for Cyrax & Sektor. JULY 21st 2023, Mortal Kombat Official YouTube Channel unveiled the next three kombatants in the Umgadi trailer. This trailer showcased Li Mei, Tanya & Baraka as the next playable characters of MK1. The MK1 Umgadi trailer also unveiled Darrius who was playable during the 3D MK games such as Deception (New Entry) & Armageddon. Darrius has been added as one of MK1's Kameo Fighters. Mortal Kombat Official YouTube Channel also unveiled it's first DLC Kombat Pack for MK1. The characters that have been included is Quan Chi, Ermac, Omni Man, Peacemaker, Takeda & Homelander. JULY 30th 2023, Mortal Kombat Official YouTube Channel unveiled the Keepers of Time trailer, this time unveiling only Geras as the new/returning member to MK1. The Keepers of Time trailer focuses on Fire God Liu Kang's extended gameplay and how Geras with his previously used Time Abilities traverses the Realms and acts as a catalyst to make Liu Kang's vision realised. Geras enters MK1 to prevent hazards against Liu Kang's plan from succeeding. No new Kameo Fighter in this trailer, just more chains with Darrius. AUGUST 7th 2023, Mortal Kombat Official YouTube Channel unveils the Banished Trailer which implements Reptile, Ashrah & Havik as the 3 new main roster fighters in MK1. The trailer also shows Sareena in action as she is the newest member to join the Kameo Fighters. Plus extended Kameo Gameplay/X Ray combination between Reptile and Stryker. The MOST Awesome trailer to date. AUGUST 22nd 2023, Mortal Kombat 1 reveal during the Gamescom event showed the next 2 characters which are to join the base roster. That being Sindel and General Shao as he is NOT Kahn of Outworld yet in Liu Kang's universe.
