National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraina (Museum at Pyrogiv).

The National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraina is a museum of the open air, an architectural and landscape complex of all historical and ethnographic regions of Ukraine. Located on the southern outskirts of Kiev, in Golosiivsky district, near Pyrogiv area. The total area is 133.5 hectares. Founded on February 6, 1969. 275 architectural exhibits of national construction of the 16th-20th centuries are located on the territory of the museum. Farmsteads with rural houses and economic buildings are formed with documentary authenticity and grouped according to the features of planning of settlements of this or that historical-ethnographic region. The funds of the museum contain more than 70 thousand household items, works of folk art, tools of labor. The most interesting of the exhibits are the interiors of buildings.
