ZK7: Latest developments in Halo2 by Ying Tong Lai

This was recorded at the zk7 Zero Knowledge Summit 7 on April 21 2022. https://www.zksummit.com/ Halo 2 is a recursive proof system combining the UltraPLONK circuit arithmetisation with an inner product argument polynomial commitment scheme and an accumulation scheme. This talk summarises the latest developments in the Halo 2 implementation, including APIs for circuit floor planning and recursive proofs. We demonstrate the optimisations made possible by the API through a deep dive into the Orchard circuit implementation.
