IC 705 power consumption test

In this video I'm checking the amount of power consumption the Icom IC-705 uses when connected to an external 13,8 volt power supply using the full 10 Watts output on a dummy load. In the video I check the RX with and without Wifi and bluetooth activated and make a 10 Watt RTTY transmission into a dummy load monitoring voltage, current and wattage consumption. For those who doesn't want to watch the whole video, consumption using 10 Watts @ 100% duty cycle is aprox. 2,41 Ah on HF and 6 meters and 2,65 Ah on 144/430 MHz. In RX around 0,28 Ah even with Wifi and bluetooth enabled.
