Yes, I played the Rocky Theme on my keyboard. I couldn't resist. I have been using both of these acrylic techniques to fabricate retainers since day 1. Long before I invested in a heated pressure pot I always used the cold cure technique. Probably because everyone referred to acrylic as Cold Cure! In this example the results from both test both came the exact same. The only difference was Time.. Heat cure took less than 5 minutes while cold cure took over 15 minutes to get to the same place. You be the judge. You can follow the bitly link below to discover which Brand acrylic was used in this video. It really had nice results. I will testing other brands of acrylic in the near future to compare. Also I will be testing colored polymer/monomer (heat vs cold cure)to see if there is any difference to quality.
