On November 24, 1675, Guru Ji was martyred in Delhi for standing against religious persecution and defending the right of Kashmiri Pandits to practice their faith. His martyrdom represents one of history's most selfless acts - sacrificing one's life for the rights of those who follow a different religion. This unprecedented sacrifice for humanity's sake continues to inspire people worldwide to stand up for justice, religious freedom, and human dignity. The Gurbani Kirtan Samagam commemorates this divine sacrifice that taught the world the importance of standing up for truth and righteousness even in the face of tyranny. Gurbani Shabad with English Translation "ਭੈ ਕਾਹੂ ਕਉ ਦੇਤ ਨਹਿ ਨਹਿ ਭੈ ਮਾਨਤ ਆਨ ॥ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਨਿ ਰੇ ਮਨਾ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ॥" English Translation: "One who does not frighten anyone, and who is not afraid of anyone else - Says Nanak, listen, mind: call him spiritually wise."
