"Look How Far (the light came)" is the 9th track on Bruce Cockburn's 1999 album, Breakfast In New Orleans Dinner In Timbuktu. This tune is a great example of Cockburn's amazing ability to mix music genre; in this case folk and jazzy blues with a samba thing going on. Lyrics and guitar aside, the song (and the entire album) feature some amazing bass, percussions and back up vocals with a Mississippi blues feel throughout!
