Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the nation's future and the citizens of tomorrow.” Darrick International School, Banga celebrated Children’s Day with utmost enthusiasm where the celebration was entirely focused on children’s day and teachers presented the show and a tribute was paid to Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The celebration began with the assembly by the teachers and thereby lamp lighting by Hon’ble Principal Maam, management members and council members. The event thereby moved forward with the song dedicated to the childhood activities where the children are full of innocence. The dance performance was given by the pre-wing teachers which was enjoyed by the children and an ambience of childish thumping feet all of a sudden could be seen. The song “Itti Si Khushi’ was sung by teachers of another group in unison and a melodious mesmerizing moment embezzled all over in the atmosphere. A poem was recited by Ms. Manisha dedicated to Children’s Day. A cake cutting ceremony was organized for the children of all the classes(playway to XII). Ms. Ruhani Chopra and Ms. Harmanjit Kaur expressed their words of gratitude during the assembly. In her address during assembly, the Hon’ble Principal Mrs. Neena Bhardwaj wished all students Happy Children’s Day as it is one of the memorable moment for the children from the school life. She added that the children are full of innocence and they should climb the ladder of success with utmost dignity and respect. So childhood phase of life is the utmost significant phase which should be nourished with love, care and affection.
