How to MEND a Torn Playing Card using Tape ( and Magic! )

This is MEND, a comically deceptive method for restoring a torn corner using Magic ( and sleight-of-hand! ) In my previous Tutorial; REPAIR (    • How to REPAIR a Torn Playing Card ( using ...   ) although it’s a powerful TnR method, I found that there was too much Shade over the moves leading up to the moment of magic, and so I had to offer another method. In The MEND, unable to restore the torn card, you admit defeat and fix the card using tape, however, there is a magical twist at the end as the participant is invited to remove the tape from the card, where they discover a perfectly restored playing card. The deceptive moment is hidden by comedic defeat, so although there is a sleight-of-hand method at play, it happens when anybody would least expect it. I am Daniel Madison, and this is The MEND.
