Creating INTENSE Portraits With Simple Colors

In this video, I'm working with a very subtle palette of black and white oil paint—keeping the darks slightly cool and gradually shifting toward warmer, yellow-tinted tones in the brighter areas. The effect creates a gentle, atmospheric transition that enhances the form without overwhelming it. I'm using the shape-based drawing method throughout the process, slowly sculpting the subject into place by focusing on large abstract shapes first, then refining them as I go. This method is incredibly versatile and works for anything you want to draw with accuracy—whether it's a still life, a portrait, or even a landscape.
