Probably one the most underrated destinations in the Philippines, the tiny island just off the coast of Cagayan de Oro (CDO) in Mindanao has surprisingly much to offer when it comes to natural attractions. Perhaps the biggest challenge for tourists wanting to visit is the relative inaccessibility of Camiguin. Fortunately, there is Sunlight Air! As of this writing, Sunlight Air is the lone airline carrier that flies the Manila-Camiguin-Manila (direct) making it much easier for travelers to visit the island. What to expect? Several eco-tourism friendly attractions such an the White Island (Sandbar), Manitgue Island, the Sunken Cermetery, many waterfalls and a host of pools that offer cold, hot and even soda water provided directly by nature.
