Gated signal on the right: A Siemens base, a Siemens gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights and 2 pairs of WCH 12x20'' lights with Harmon Fading LEDs. After leaving the campground across the river from this crossing, I went over here to see if I could get a video of this crossing. Not too long after I arrived, the crossing activated and an empty CN coal train came through with a trio of ES44ACs for power. I missed the activation by a couple seconds since it was rather quick, but did a bit of editing of course. At the time of recording, the highway was closed because much of it was washed out during the atmospheric rivers of late 2021. However, it has since reopened. This crossing is nothing special when it comes to the signals, but I do like where it's located. Originally, this crossing featured Safetran EM signals installed by the CP Rail System sometime in the 1990s. First off in the 2000s, the far EM signal had its original WCH 8" lights replaced with newer WCH 8" lights, and the original WCH mechanical bell was replaced with a GS Type 2 E-Bell. Then between 2009 and 2012, all the 8" lights were replaced with WCH 12x20" Harmon Fading LED lights. Then around 2016-2017, the EM signals were replaced with the current Siemens signals. The lights were reused, but the bell was instead a new WCH E-Bell. However, t did not last long as around 2019, the WCH E-Bell was replaced with a reused GS Type 2 E-Bell!
