Building on the success of our original Vertex Whips last year, we’re happy to add a 5m version to the range, but also a pre-elasticated range, with a 3m and 4m length now available. These have been meticulously designed for fishing in commercial waters with the need to handle those hard fighting of F1s or Carp, but also light enough to enjoy natural venues. The fully elasticated top section increases your chances of landing those bigger, bonus fish whilst the Green 9-11 Power Pull elastic provides a cushioning effect to prevent bumping off smaller species. Also provided with the whips are a strong and reliable rig, tied with a 4lb 0.18mm mainline line to a 3lb 0.15mm hook length. At the business end is a size 16 silverfish pellet hook that’s ideal for maggots, casters, soft pellets, sweetcorn, and bread.
