Store bought pre-made rigs can be quite expensive and by learning how to make this rig you will save yourself a fair bit of coin in the long run. I use the sand grabber sinker to secure my bait in place and to be able to keep tension on the main line. I have a double snelled sliding hook rig with usually a bigger hook in the front to hook the bait onto and a smaller hook at the back to keep the bait streamline and in place. I prefer the sliding snell hook as it gives me the freedom to adjust it according to the size of bait i'm using and it stays firm and keeps the bait streamline and in place rather than having a lose hook flopping around. I am a big fan of the uni knot because it is one of the most versatile knots out there and it's STRONG and has never failed me yet.
