A planned visit on 08.02.2026 to Shri Jalari Yoganarasimha Swamy Temple, located near Chikkaballapura, is a mystical and serene temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha, featuring both swayambhu and installed deities and surrounded by lush greenery and sacred mountains. It is diagonally behind the Isha Foundation. Nestled between Nandi Hills & Panch Giri hills, also called Sapta Giri Kshetra or Jwala Giri Kshetra due to its spiritual and mystical significance . The region was formerly a dense forest of Jalari trees, which gives the temple its name. There is another Mandir, about 1 hour trek behind it, called Bhoga Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy (installed) atop the nearby hill, accompanied by Goddess Lakshmi. According to legend, the Sapta Rishis performed intense tapasya here, and after the Narasimha avatar’s appearance, they requested the Bhagwan to remain in this holy place in dual forms to bless devotees. It is believed that darshan of both the deities removes sins and fulfills devotees’ desires.
