Bmw 118d F20 Powertrain stop carefully message on the dash but no fault codes when scanning DME with Autel MK908 or TopDon. Scanning the vehicle with a Snap-on solus legend we had a fault code within the DME fault code 36F000H/3600384 , it's a bit strange that the Autel wouldn't pick it up the fault but now a realize the actual fault code is 36F000 which indicate a issue with the air intake system. PART 1    • BMW 118d F20 Powertrain Stop Carefully NO ...   PART 2    • BMW 118d F20 Powertrain Stop Carefully NO ...   Finally scanning the vehicle with an Autel IM608 I was able to pull some codes that I could understand fault codes 36F000 36f400 . Looking up the fault codes with DDTSB I've learned that this fault codes possible could only be cleared after an intake control test with OEM Tool and if the test was successful the fault could be cleared. Using ISTA I wasn't able to perform some of the tests because the vehicle was in limp mode limited to 3000 revs and faults couldn't be cleared. From the beginning I had a suspicion that the issue is a software problem so find out what happens to this fault in the next video . Vehicle is now fix BTW.
