🕌 Opening Verses — Arabic الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْحَكِيمِ أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنْذِرِ النَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَاحِرٌ مُبِينٌ 🔤 Transliteration (Arabic in English letters) Alif Lām Rā Tilka āyātu al-kitābi al-ḥakīm Akāna li-n-nāsi ‘ajaban an awḥaynā ilā rajulin minhum An andhiri n-nāsa wa bashshiri alladhīna āmanū Anna lahum qadama ṣidqin ‘inda rabbihim Qāla al-kāfirūna inna hādhā la-sāḥirun mubīn 🌍 English Meaning (Opening Sense) These are the verses of the Wise Book. Is it surprising to people that We revealed to a man from among them to warn mankind and give glad tidings to the believers that they have a firm standing with their Lord?
