TMJ Disorders, commonly known as TMJ, refers to issues related to the joint between the skull and the lower jaw (or mandible). This is usually associated with clicking or popping noises in the joint, pain, stiffness of the facial muscles, clenching, difficulty opening your mouth or eating, malocclusion or an offbite, and headaches.
