As I was driving past this property, a few things immediately caught my eye. Massive piles of dead trees were stacked along the front fence — and that was just the beginning. The entire place was being swallowed by weeds and tall grass. The driveway and garden beds were completely overgrown, and a huge bottlebrush tree had started creeping onto the garage roof, badly in need of a trim. But as I walked toward the front door, things really started to get interesting. Every crack in the ground had grass bursting through it, and the garden beds lining the front of the house looked like they hadn’t been touched in years. Then came the real challenge — the side of the house... It was so overgrown you couldn’t even reach it anymore. Trees and branches had completely blocked the pathway. Just wait until you see this! I went and knocked on the door to see if the home owner was home, and she indeed was. She was speechless when I told her that I would tidy her whole yard for free! She even told me that it was her birthday today, and how much of a great surprise this clean up was. I have even gone and done something at the end which would surpise her even more, stick around until the end to see what I have done!
