Welcome back guys, Took a little bit to get this 1000 miles under my belt. But after request of another watcher, here is the results. Can you change the fuel economy On a 2024 L8T Gasser with the Allison 10 speed transmission? Question was running a higher octane fuel. Would that benefit fuel economy? Well, after the 1000 miles, we've calculated the results. And here you go, it actually will help fuel economy. Always remember, though fuel economy is dictated based on your driving habits, idling, etc etc. For the test, we ran 91 octane fuel. And most of the mpgs were figured at city driving. I did not notice any Huge improvements in power or anything like that. However, fuel economy did improve.
