Originally named the 8/5 Club, this San Ramon landmark has been around since 1946, when the population was just 100! Renamed The Brass Door in 1955, this restaurant went from being a dining facility that could only seat 20 to now being able to seat over 200 guests. They feature an eclectic menu serving corn fed Midwestern beef, chicken, fresh seafood, french dips, sensational salads, sandwiches and soups, but they are most famous for their prime rib! The current owner, Shahla Azad, has owned the restaurant for about 6 years now and has kept the tradition of The Brass Door alive. They are now open for indoor dining and take out.
