The chest and neck areas of our patented Fence Buster rugs feature integrated panels which are designed to efficiently conduct the pulse from an electric fence to the horse. Normal rugs can make an electric fence ineffective as they insulate the horse from the fence. The conductive panels in the Fence Buster bypass the fabric so that the shock from the electric fence is instantly transferred to the horse. This simply means the horse is not insulated from the pulse and therefore receives the same effect from the electric fence as they would if they were not wearing a rug at all, which can prevent escapes.
