FlossTube #1 - 02.23.2025: Introduction to FlossTube

In this video I give you an introduction into my cross stitching journey. Projects covered: "Frost Forest" by Country Cottage Needleworks This is a series of nine designs that I stitched in 2022. I used the provided border suggestion on their website, and also stitched the outer border that Helen D (eastcoast.crafter on IG and FlossTube) designed for her project. This was stitched on 16ct Country French Rain Aida purchased from FatQuarterShop.com. I used DMC threads and the Just Another Button Co. button pack for this project. The frame was on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I had Custom Frame Service in Dayton, Ohio resize the frame (14 1/2" x 14 3/8"). "Let's Talk Spring," by Hands On Design This is a 4-part series called Chalk Talk. I do have all four seasons and I'm focusing on completing the framed projects in this series for 2025. They are being stitched on 16ct Black Aida from 123Stitch.com, using DMC threads. I will be using a white frame for switching out for each season. Influencers I don't miss: Primrose Cottage Stitching With The Housewives Fat Quarter Shop Sweetwater Stitcher Nichol Spohr Vonna Pfeiffer Thank you for watching my premiere video. I know it's a little rough, but this was my first time using this editing software and doing a project like this. It was fun though! A huge thank you to my partner Jim. He is my tech guy and walked me through all of the devices and software program! I closed my video by using a line from "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure," a movie from 1989. This is a quote I've adopted as a favorite through the years to remind myself and others to, "be excellent to each other!" Ellen
