Many names, yes the Sega Saturn had many names as it had also many virtues and as well as many downsides that when all combined, made for a disaster recipe served a la "Carte Blanche" However grim it may have turned out, there is no denying that eventually it would amass a serious amount of great compelling games (even if they arrived too late) or mostly went unnoticed. Lack of True Sega first party great (yeah it had Daytona, Shinobi and Virtua Fighter) No Sonic (a true successor). Blitz surprise launch that when combined with the price $400 made it a "no brainer" to "skip" for people like me that often needed to prepare months ahead of savings to be prepared because you know...Life! But this video is not to beat the "dead horse" because history speaks for itself, but rather revel in the games it left in it's wake. Mark my words: It is home to some highly entertaining and creative games and one of those worthy of pickup "after the fact" for collecting purposes. It makes me sad that this system might have been it part the catalyst for Sega's downfall from being a console maker, but i'm grateful that if not for this system, we wouldn't have received the Dreamcast years later.
