Thanks so much for supporting my channel 💞 // S T O R Y To start, I'll like to say that Minimalism is not about how many possessions you have, but about lowering your life’s requirements to the essentials while being able to answer one simple question: what is important to you? I must confess, that in 2020 I kinda lost my minimalist way. The reason could be that after 4 years of traveling the world, my husband and I finally rented a place to be safe during these crazy times.  It might also have been that since the pandemic stroke, I got bored for a long period of time and let myself give in to impulses… which in the case of a stay-at-home year, it was online shopping. I decided I was going to cook more and had fantasies of becoming a perfect housewife (those that always cook everything from scratch).  As I got attached to those fantasies, I felt the need to buy things to support that lifestyle.    After buying a bunch of stuff I realized what a mistake it was and also got a fast reminder that the more stuff you have, the more you have to keep clean.  So for the last few months, I have started to get back on track analyzing what it is that I really need in life, leading me down a path of re-learning to live with less. Even tho I have already started, I also know from my previous experience with minimalism, that getting to lean is a matter of experiencing the joy of letting go, little by little.
