At the Civil War battle of Antietam, General Ambrose Burnside's assault over the bridge that will be named after him following the battle. This diorama utilizes hundreds of military miniatures to tell the story. Great for fans of both military history and military miniatures. I wanted to take the standard practice of displaying photos of military miniatures and "up the game" by telling the story of the battle display as the viewer is led through the diorama visually and audibly. Really captures the viewer's imagination! I'm a long time collector and creator of military miniatures and an avid student of military history gleaned from my time as a cadet at West Point and many years of service as an Army Officer. I'm also a veteran of the Afghanistan War and published a book about my wartime experience in Afghanistan which you can check out at Http://Rooster-Jones.com/ ----------------------------------------------- Lieutenant Colonel William "Rooster" Jones is a 1983 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
