If you happen to have these apart and are replacing one component, its best to inspect the other surrounding components to ensure that nothing else is worn. This will prevent further issues and also allow you to stiffen the suspension back to its original state, or at least a better state. Checking ball joints, boots, nylon cups and shock absorbers are definitely a MUST when doing any brake or suspension work to any vehicle. All advice given should be taken into consideration with your knowledge and experience with automobiles.
