http://www.StudioSea.us What 's most important is that the "weakest link" in your anchor system be discovered and replaced. As an example a 3/8" BB chain has a "working load limit" of 5400 lbs. Where as the standard galvanized shackle or swivel has a WLL of only 2400 lbs... that's the weakest link! The solution is to up the swivel to 5/8" and use a 7/16" ALLOY shackle.
