He had undergone laser OIU with OIU six months back. Now admitted with recurrence of severe obstructive voiding symptoms. Routine investigation including culture, renal function test and viral markers were normal. Retrograde urethrogram study revealing multiple bulbar dense urethral stricture. Proximal bulbar urethra and membranous sphincter area normal. Cystoscopy followed by optical internal urethrotomy being done using “Benz” incisions followed by urethral dilatation upto 26f. Urethral stricture length estimated up to 40mm. Endo-urethral deployment of Memokath 045 Nickel-Titanium alloy (50mm) stent done under visual guidance. VCUG done on the table showing free flow of contrast across the stented urethra with good uroflow pattern.
