The video shows you the factory recommended jump start cable locations. The negative jumper cable lead goes directly to the negative cable of the battery. The battery positive cable end is located under the black or red colored plastic cover on top of the battery. You need to release the plastic latches and then lift up on the cover and sit it aside. Now looking closer at the positive cable of the battery you see a wavy metal piece stanging up....this the the recommend location for the positive jumper cable lead to grap on to. So there you have it....jumper cables hooked up as the factory recommends. Eventually the time will come one day when the battery will need to be replaced.....now you have a video to show you how. There is a step that is very important that you need to pay close attention to before attempting. Make sure to watch the video to make certain you know what that step is. The negative cable has a quick release that requires no tools. The positive terminal is under the black or red plastic cover on top of the battery. Release the two plastic latches and lift the cover off the battery terminal assembly. now you need to remove the two phillips screws and then the red inserted retainer. Now loosen the 10 mm nut on the positive cable end. Now wiggle the connector untill you can lift it up off the battery terminal. Now we move into the battery hold down strap. You need to remove the 13 mm nut that holds the strap and bracket in place. Now we can use the built in battery handles to lift it out of the way.
