The Falcon's Fathew Flyer! This is a historic run filmed during the Talyllyn Railway's Anything Goes Gala in July 2024. Enjoy the highlights of a full return journey on the Talyllyn line, featuring a powerful double-headed train! This event marked the first-ever visit of the new build Corris Railway Falcon to another railway. The Double-Header Lineup: Leading Locos: New Build Corris Railway No 10 Falcon double-heading with the original Ex-Corris Falcon Loco No 3 'Sir Haydn'. Banking Operation: The train was also banked by Talyllyn Railway's legendary No 2 'Dolgoch' on the rear of the train, as far as Brynglas to assist with the climb up the valley. This video focuses on the thrilling double-heading action at the head of the train as it tackles the charming climb up the beautiful Fathew Valley to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol. As a bonus, after we return to Tywyn Wharf, stay tuned for highlights of the Anything Goes Locomotive Cavalcade!
