Modi said the Indian government is in constant contact with friendly nations in the Gulf to ensure the security of its citizens. He added that Indian embassies are working 24/7, providing food, water, medical support and legal assistance to Indians affected by the crisis. The Prime Minister also criticised the Indian National Congress, accusing the opposition of politicising the conflict and making provocative statements for political gain. During his speech, Modi emphasised the importance of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
