​Old School Meets Boost: My Turbocharged 1952 MG TD Project

​In this update, I’m showing off the progress on my 1952 MG TD "Basket Case" project. We're doing things a little differently on this one—it's getting a 1973 2.0L Pinto engine with a custom progressive header, a turbo for some extra boost, and a Ford Ranger 5-speed transmission. ​The goal is a solid 150-175 HP to the wheels, which should be plenty of fun in this lightweight body. I’ve also narrowed and grafted in a Mustang II front end, added a Ford 9-inch rear with a ladder bar suspension, and just finished up the track bar and shock mounts today. ​Shoutout to Andrew Pindell at Customs Unlimited for the header work!
