A day at the J&L narrow gauge railroad with J&L 58

After a 2 year absence, my dad and I finally returned to the Youngstown Steel Heritage Center to ride and photograph the J&L narrow gauge railroad and J&L 58. This 1930’s era Porter hauled steel ingots around the Jones and Laughlin steel works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Today, the 58 hauls passengers around the small track at the heritage center. Eventually, 58 will be joined by sister engine 57 in hauling passengers on the museum grounds. Special thanks to Rick Rowlands and the Youngstown Steel Heritage team for hosting the event!
