Welcome to Seccheto, a charming village on the southern coast of Elba Island, Italy. In this video, we take you on a breathtaking journey through stunning drone shots and underwater footage, capturing the peaceful beauty of this hidden gem. Known for its pristine beaches, clear turquoise waters, and rugged cliffs, Seccheto offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The town is a perfect destination for those seeking a quiet retreat, featuring a mix of traditional stone houses and modern amenities. Seccheto's beach is ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling, with scenic hiking and biking trails nearby. The beach, around 130 meters long, is located along the Costa del Sole, nestled between the beaches of Cavoli and Fetovaia. Its coarse-grain sand opens onto a beautiful bay facing south, providing a quiet, family- and pet-friendly atmosphere. There are numerous facilities to be found both on the beach and in the village, including the bakery Non Solo Pane, where you can enjoy a fantastic coffee and delicious bomboloni (doughnuts), served by friendly staff. Facing the beautiful light blue sea, you can see some granite slabs on the left, known as Le Conche, this small natural swimming pool is a great spot for the kids and its perfect for snorkelling in this area. In the other side, there are also some good spots for snorkelling, and bit further, in the back of Hotel La Stela, there is another natural pool, also a nice spot to start your snorkelling activity. For post-beach relaxation, head to Bar Al Garian, offering breathtaking cliffside views, signature cocktails, and a serene atmosphere with soothing lounge music. About one kilometer west of the beach is Le Piscine, where large smooth boulders allow one to lie comfortably in the sun and the rocks form pleasant natural pools in which to bathe and snorkelling into the cristal-clear water. Please be aware that on certain days, jellyfish can appear in large numbers along the shore. These occurrences are often unpredictable and can pose a risk to swimmers due to their stings.
