Is it worth visiting small towns in Europe? This is day 8 of the Transylvania Train Tour and we are going to the city of Arad. We took a train from Oradea, Romania to Arad, Romania and the tickets were only $8 per person! Cities in Transylvania and Romania are very well connected. This is just one way that Romania is one of Europe’s best countries to visit on a budget. The trains in Romania are very affordable making Romania one of Europe's best countries to visit in 2022! In Arad, we visited the following sights: Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, Administrative Palace, viewed the outside of Cultural Palace & Museum, Monument to the Romanian Revolution, Statue of Liberty, and made sure to check out all the Art Nouveau architecture. All these sights were spectacular and they were a budget-friendly activity in Europe because they were completely free! If you are looking for a small town in Europe worth visiting, we highly recommend checking out the town of Arad in Romania. Arad is lovely and it’s great value for money in Europe in 2022!
