[ALS C830 806 (PV06) - Joyride from CC7 Mountbatten B to CC9 Paya Lebar B] Date filmed: 17 January 2026 Time of recording: between 0820hrs to 0824hrs Towards: Paya Lebar Train Model: Alstom Metropolis C830 Train Run: Depot of Origin: Kim Chuan Depot Final Destination Depot: Kim Chuan Depot Carriage filmed at: 8063 door A2/B2 area AM/PM/Full Day: Shuttle Train Service between Mountbatten and Paya Lebar This video features an Alstom Metropolis C830, Passenger Vehicle Set 06 (Set 806), which is from Kim Chuan Depot (KCD) to serve the Circle Line (CCL) as a shuttle train between Paya Lebar and Mountbatten stations for the entire day as part of the Circle Line Adjustments, from CC7 Mountbatten Platform B to CC9 Paya Lebar Platform B stations, bound for CC9 Paya Lebar. Due to essential tunnel strengthening works that is needed to be conducted on the Circle Line strech (between Paya Lebar and Mountbattern stations), from 17 January 2026 to 19 April 2026, there are some service adjustments being made to the Circle Line where trains from HarbourFront will end at Paya Lebar, and those from Dhoby Ghaut will end at Mountbatten. There is a shuttle train that plys between Mountbatten and Paya Lebar stations using one tunnel while the other tunnel is closed for the works. This is the first day where the service adjustments for the tunnel lights begins for the Circle Line, and here is a joyride on the Shuttle Train serving Paya Lebar, Dakota and Mountbattern stations with a frequency of 10 minutes. In this case, only Platform B of these 3 stations were opened. Staff marshalls were onboard to guide and remind commuters of the changes. Note that at CC8 Dakota stations, you would be able to see the workers in action at Platform A, with the last door of Dakota Platform A being opened for the works (1:30 - 2:10) 📲 Follow me on socials!
