Over the years Northern Ireland has had its share of Musical moments. In the late 90's Energy 106.6 FM was born. The ONLY station playing non stop dance music 24/7. Specialising in commercial dance it became the most popular station in Northern Ireland, So popular in fact that along with selling tonnes of cd's & merchandise from its headquarters at in shops Belfast, it hosted some amazing club nights including the famous Dundonald Ice Bowl disco's that attracted numbers in excess of 3000! Its founder Lawrence John is infamous with anyone that tuned in & enjoyed the commercial club music being played. Resident dj's Danny Dee, Stevie B, Dru R, Tommy B & Darren G were superstars at the time. I was a bedroom dj back then & spent all my time & money sourcing the tunes that everyone remembers as Energy classics. A friend asked me for a cd with these tunes & after recording it I just had to upload it & share it with all you guilty pleasure energy 106 fans. Enjoy
