The Guidolin Girotto Laser Cutting & Converting System offers innovative and cost-effective solutions for processing simple and complex geometries without the use of traditional hard tooling – superior part quality that cannot be replicated in the traditional die cutting process. This technology increases design flexibility, is cost efficient with high quality out-put, minimizes material waste with very low maintenance. The GD RO Laser Series combines die cutting rotary tools, modular stations and a laser cutting station to perform complex processing while maintaining high quality & precision - one converting platform with multiple solutions. The RO Laser Converting System can be equipped with a 100, 200, 300 or 400 Watt CO2 laser (2-Axis & 3-Axis) which offers a reliable, precise beam that results in a clean cut edge without burn marks or discoloration, no melting of adhesives from excessive laser heat and is ideal for small angle cuts, sharp corners & small diameter holes – virtually ANY GEOMETRY. This system allows laser cut web widths as narrow as 6mm with work areas available from 150, 250mm, & 350mm @ very high production rates with typical accuracies of +/- 0.05mm.
