In this video, I will show you what is the difference of Wet on Wet vs Wet on Dry technique in watercolor painting since the last time. Today I will paint the Sunflower. And I will focus on how to make strokes with a brush. After Hydrangea released Wet on Wet and Wet on Dry technique published on April 23, 2020, many people liked this comparable style of video. So, I will try to post this style of tutorial video in future repeatedly on Saturday. I personally prefer Wet on Wet to Wet on Dry style. Because the spreading the colors fascinates me in wet on wet technique. The paper is still wet dropping in paint and punching in color is very interesting. However wet on dry technique has also the merit of adding layer, depth and detail. At the wet on dry technique, I paint directly on the paper without water and blend. And I am using small brush with dark color on detail part. So, I recommend you to try to practice both of them together. COLOR: cadmium yellow deep, brilliant orange, sap green, burnt sienna, ultramarine deep. PAPER: Fabriano Cold Pressed 140 lb. BRUSH: Escoda Versátil 16, Davinci 6 cosmotop Mix B, Mozart Round 6 Big Brush to wet the paper with water( Actually I don't know this brush's brand name. I have used this brush over 30 years.)
