Dr Richard Anderson receives ASOPRS Outstanding Contributi

Salt Lake City physician recognized for outstanding contributions to field of eyelid and facial plastic surgery. The American Society of ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery awarded Salt Lake City physician, Richard L Anderson, M.D., FACS, the ASOPRS outstanding contribution award during their October 17, 2014 scientific symposium in Chicago, Illinois. The Salt Lake City physician was honored to receive the American Society of plastic and reconstructive surgery outstanding contribution award. The prestigious honor, "in recognition of long-standing contributions to the society," was awarded for his work developing and publishing in medical literature many of the best procedures used today in oculoplastic/facial cosmetic surgery. He says that of the many honors and awards that he has received this one means the most to him as it is given by his peers for the profession he loves and has work to create. He states he shares this honor with the many doctors he has trained and those they have trained worldwide in oculoplastic/facial plastic surgery. He also credits his superior office staff that does the hardest and most important work for any doctor and shares his dedication and passion for patient care. He thanks his lovely wife Susan, and his three children who have always supported him and his passion for his profession. He says "the key to success for any doctor is defined as special to you love and maintain your passion for trying to make it better".
